I have been busy painting! Brian and I have a two-person show opening in January 17 at SMoA. This painting will be on display. The colors are so much more vibrant in person than in a photo. :-)
Yep, I am printing again. The plate was prepared during Summer Green Printmaking Workshop at Zea Mays. I made an edition of 12 for the print exchange with Lunch Print Money. Excited to see prints from other printmakers around the world!
For those who missed the show opening night, here are some shots from the gallery installation. I will be at the gallery on the third Sunday (10/21) from noon - 3PM if you want to stop by. Drawings are done by me and the photographs are by my students.
The exhibition opens this Friday, October 5th at 6PM. There are other great shows opening on the same night at Front Street Building. Come and join us this Friday for a fun night out with artists!!
Sneak peek.... I am working on many new pieces for the upcoming exhibition at Springfield Museum of Art., and this is one of them. The show will open in January 2019.
End of summer is near. I'm back home in Dayton, getting ready for the new school year. This is the last weekend before school starts... This summer was a very productive one. A print I made during the summer residency/workshop in MA was sold. Looks great in a bedroom hallway :-)
I always wanted to learn the safe and non-toxic printmaking, and thanks to Montgomery County Artist Grant, I am here at Zea Mays Printmaking in Florence, MA, taking the amazing Green Printmaking Certificate workshop.
The folks at the Sketchbook Project featured me in their blog. You can view my book in person at The Brooklyn Art Library in Brooklyn, NY.
I'm excited that I'm almost finished with the library project. The final work will be installed at the Dayton Public Library in Belmont location.
