If you are in the area of Springfield and haven't seen the show, then this is your last weekend to see it. I am very honored to have shown my work in this wonderful museum. Can't thank enough.
I'm thrilled to announce that our show, Ubi Sunt. . ., opened at Springfield Museum of Art!! Join us on Saturday, Feb. 16th, 5:30PM–7PM for an artist reception. The show runs until April 28th, 2019.
Brian is putting together a long pedestal, which he designed and built, for his works in the Deer Gallery at SMoA. The walls are cleaned and freshly painted for my paintings and prints. We are excited and feel blessed to exhibit our works in this beautiful space.
I finished another painting for the "Ubi Sunt. . ." exhibition coming up at SMoA. "Blue Eye Girl", acrylic on canvas. The show opens on January 19th, and the Artist/Exhibition Reception will be on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at 5:30PM. Mark your calendar!
I have been busy painting! Brian and I have a two-person show opening in January 17 at SMoA. This painting will be on display. The colors are so much more vibrant in person than in a photo. :-)
Yep, I am printing again. The plate was prepared during Summer Green Printmaking Workshop at Zea Mays. I made an edition of 12 for the print exchange with Lunch Print Money. Excited to see prints from other printmakers around the world!
For those who missed the show opening night, here are some shots from the gallery installation. I will be at the gallery on the third Sunday (10/21) from noon - 3PM if you want to stop by. Drawings are done by me and the photographs are by my students.
The exhibition opens this Friday, October 5th at 6PM. There are other great shows opening on the same night at Front Street Building. Come and join us this Friday for a fun night out with artists!!
Sneak peek.... I am working on many new pieces for the upcoming exhibition at Springfield Museum of Art., and this is one of them. The show will open in January 2019.
